Zoning Ordinance Consolidated Public Review Draft Released

The Ordinance Review Subcommittee will host two public workshops on the zoning ordinance consolidated public review draft.  The purpose of the workshops is to provide a brief project status and obtain additional public comments.  In order to provide flexibility and offer attendance options, the public workshops will be held as scheduled below.

Workshop #1
Date:  January 18, 2012
Time:  6 p.m.
Location:  The Forest Preserve District of Will County, 17540 W. Laraway Road, Joliet, IL 60433

Workshop #2
Date:  January 19, 2012
Time:  6 p.m.
Location:  Frankfort Township Hall, 11000 W. Lincoln Highway, Frankfort, IL 60423
 
The consolidated public review draft includes the zoning ordinance text from Modules 1, 2, and 3, with modifications to address comments received at prior ORS meetings, as well as issues identified by further staff and consultant review.  These modifications are identified by underlining and strikeouts.  The draft includes many barrier-removing recommendations.  Please see www.renewingwillcounty.com for more information.
